About Me

My photo
Hi everyone! My name is Noelle and I am a Special Education teacher (self-contained, grades 3, 4, and 5!) After graduating, I started teaching Kindergarten!!! I had only applied to sub when I was called in for an interview! The following school year I moved schools and changed grade levels. I absolutely love where I am now and what I am doing!

New England Blogger Meetup!

It took me a few weeks, but I wanted to post about our NE Blogger Meetup, so here it is!!

At the end of February, a few of us New England bloggers got together for a wonderful meetup! I thought I would share a few pictures that we took and say thank you to all the ladies!  I had a blast meeting each of you, relaxing, and chatting the afternoon away!!!

First, I would like to thank Amanda from The Take Home Teacher for organizing the meet up and getting all of us together in one place! Amanda also took the time to make up some cute little gifts and name tags for each of us! Too cute!

Here are a few pictures of some of the ladies hanging out around the table!

L-R: Kayla from Meet Miss Parker, Alyssa from Simply Special Ed
and Britney from Miss Stetson's Classroom

L- R: Mary from Adventures in Kindergarten, Vera from The Tutu Teacher,
and Jillian from The Starr Spangled Planner

L to R: Kaitlyn from Smiles and Sunshines and Colleen from Colleen's Kinders

L to R: Amanda from The Take Home Teacher, myself, and Sara from The Colorful Apple

Here is a group shot of everyone!! (not pictured is Dianne from Hopelessly Devoted)
Thanks again for such a wonderful day ladies!!!! Can't wait for the next time!

Currently - March 2015

Linking up with Farley from Oh' Boy 4th Grade for the March Currently.

We are watching The League.  It's hysterical, but definitely a man's show!

I am absolutely loving life right now.  I hope it continues!

I am just going over some things that need to get done this week.  I'm sure there are many things, but right now I am thinking about PARCC testing.  This will be our first year with this assessment.  I am not a fan of testing at all.  I am a special educator and standardized tests are not made for the students I work with.

I really hope there is school tomorrow.  I do not want another snow day.  There is already a parking ban in place, so I am crossing my fingers!

As I finished writing this post, the call came - snow day number 8 tomorrow! yuck!

Sleep - self explanatory!  8 P.M. on a Sunday and I am ready for bed! At least it was a great weekend, including a blogger meetup.  Blog post soon to follow!

Spring Break Plans:
We just had our February break and do not have spring break until April.  This year I have nothing special planned.  Last year we went to Aruba and I came home with a fiance! I will probably be doing wedding things over the break. I will probably also paint some more.  I love when I have a few days to paint and can leave my materials out for a little while!

Enjoy your weeks everyone!!!
